We watched some interesting projects this week and I began to think about what computational arts are. It is like a game, and it reminds me of a quote “The world is built by humans”, humans set up countries, build laws, languages, define sexualities, careers and so on. It seems like what programming does: a typer creates a completed interactive computational program with different functions, and puts all the functions the typer built into the setup, and then it shows a vivid system when it is run. Another feature of computational arts is that it begins with a blank, which means the typer can do anything he/she wants. Like I was painting, I should learn drawing human skeletons for entering an arts school, and all of the paintings I draw can be marked with a score, but one day, I found some people don’t draw for scores, they draw for challenge others, which means, their paintings are against all the principles of a good paintings.

This is a new tool for me, I want to do something that is anything I want, no score, so I should prepare for facing the stress from critics, from tattles.
